SB 665, the awful bill that will allow 15,000 acres of land to be developed into houses around the controversial proposed Morrow County speedway adjacent to the Columbia River in Boardman will have a hearing in the House Workforce and Economic Development committee on Monday, May 21, 8am in HR C. The bill was amended in the Senate to be slightly “less bad” by removing a provision that would have eliminated the appeals process and fast tracked development, but it is still a bad bill in danger of getting out of this committee.
