Take action today to stop the biggest potential environmental rollback this session! The formidable group of high powered lobbyists that have been pushing HB 3525 (“Oasis”) since January have been able to get a hearing scheduled. This horrible bill would permanently withdraw 500,000 acre feet of water annually from the Columbia River. OCN groups have been successfully fighting this bill all session, and the Governor has sent two letters voicing his opposition, but it just won't die.

Send a letter to your representative, and come to the hearing on Tuesday, June 19 in the Natural Resources Subcommittee of Ways and Means, 8:30am in H-174.  A huge turnout will show the members of the subcommittee, the Governor and the press that this bill is unacceptable to a broad range of groups and citizens.
