Those in the know aren’t ruling out an early end of session, but it is pretty clear that the Legislature is posed to sine die by the end of this month.  Yesterday was the day most substantive committees shut down, and bills that weren’t referred to the active committees are likely dead.

It was another good week for our Priorities, with Electronic Waste Recycling and Solar on Public Buildings both heading to the Governor’s desk.

We need to keep the pressure up!  There are a number of bills that moved relatively quickly early in the session that are languishing in Ways and Means or Revenue committees, and unless they receive hearings soon, time may run out for this session.
