The United States Geological Survey found traces of several pesticides in the water in the the lower Clackamas River and its tributaries.

The United States Geological Survey found traces of several pesticides in the water in the the lower Clackamas River and its tributaries. Levels were under the threat levels set by the federal government, though three pesticides don't have standards and there is no standard for combined pesticide exposure. News isn't so good for fish and plants; the main stem had levels of an insecticide exceeding aquatic health levels, and four tributaries had insecticides exceeding aquatic life benchmarks.
