Salem, OR Sep 20, 2006Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski today issued the following statement on the Oregon Conservation Network's 2007 Legislative agenda.
"I look forward to working with the Oregon Conservation Network to make Oregon a leader in energy security, as well as protecting our clean air, water and scenic natural heritage. These organizations - representing tens of thousands of Oregonians - understand that clean energy means good jobs for our state and a healthier future for Oregon families.
From reducing toxins in our waterways to strengthening rural economies through biofuel development, they're working to keep our environment healthy and our economy strong."
