Curious about the science behind global warming?

Who:    Jeffrey Shaman, PhD, a climatologist and Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University

What:   Jeffrey will present findings and discuss The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report: The Physical Science Basis

When: Friday, June 15, 7 pm – 9 pm

 Where: The Newport Visual Arts Center, 777 NW Beach Drive, Newport

The Lincoln County Chapter of Oregon League of Conservation Voters (OLCV) hosts Jeffrey Shaman, PhD, a climatologist and Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University. Shaman will discuss the physics of climate change, along with what the IPCC Working Group predicts for the future if we fail to take action.

This is a special follow-up event to Secretary of State Bradbury’s Newport presentation, An Inconvenient Truth, held in March.
